Do you sell ready-made 3D models?
No, we do not sell pre-made 3D models or STL files. We only provide the 3D printing service based on the files provided by the customer or the links sent to legal sources of 3D models.
Where can I download legal printable files?
STL files can be downloaded from popular and legal platforms such as MyMiniFactory, Cults3D, MakerWorld, CGTrader, Fab365, Thingiverse, or Thangs. Depending on the platform, models are available for free or require the purchase of a license. If you want, we can purchase it on your behalf. The cost will be added to your order.
Do you print characters from movies, games, comics?
Yes, but only if the customer has the appropriate license or right to use such a model. All prints are made only on request and only for private use – we do not carry out orders for commercial, sales or promotional purposes.
Who is responsible for the legality of the file?
The client is solely responsible for the legality of the file. By placing an order, the customer declares that he has the rights or license to use the submitted model. FabbyPrints.com provides only the printing service and is not responsible for the content or source of the uploaded files.
Can I order a print without technical knowledge of 3D printing?
Yes, you don't need to have any technical knowledge. All you have to do is point us a model from one of the legal sites or upload a file. We will check it, inform you about the price and make the print according to your preferences.
Can I order a printout of the model from the Internet? How does it work on the example of MakerWorld.com?
Yes! That's what our store is all about – we offer 3D printing at the customer's request, and not the sale of ready-made models. An example of such a legal implementation is the website MakerWorld.com - A platform with thousands of printable models, owned by printer manufacturer Bambu Lab.
What does it look like in practice?
Example:
On the MakerWorld.com website, you find a model of Iron Man's head as a headphone stand. According to the rules of this platform, You can download this file for private use only. You can't sell it, but you can print it out for yourself.
Don't have a printer? That's when we come in.
In our store:
- You see a picture of such an Iron Man head as Example of implementation.
- If you want the same model — you copy the link to this model from MakerWorld.com and you send to us when you place your order.
- We download the model on your behalf (if possible) or ask you to upload a file.
- We provide 3D printing service for you exactly this model, in the color and size of your choice – exclusively for your private order.
- You will receive the finished printout at the indicated address.
Thanks to this, everything is done according to the site's license, without infringing copyright. We don't sell finished products – we just we provide printing service at your request.
What about the licensing when I order a print from MakerWorld or another platform?
In our store we offer only 3D printing service at the customer's request – that is, we help people who have files or found a model on the internet, but they don't have their own printer and want to get a ready-made, physical print.
For example, the MakerWorld.com allows you to download 3D models for private use. The user can find there, for example, the head of a character from a movie or a stand for headphones, and then have us print it. This completely legal, because we will print the model for the personal use of the customer only, on his behalf, without further sale or copying.
If the customer does not have an account on MakerWorld or does not know how to download the file – they can simply send it to us link to the selected model. We will download it on their behalf, prepare the settings and print it – as a 3D printing service.
For some models – e.g. from platforms such as Cults3D, CGTrader or MyMiniFactory – You may need to purchase a commercial license. Then we inform the customer and we can license such a license purchase on his behalf, as a separate, additionally paid service. Thanks to this, the customer does not have to worry about anything – they receive a legal printout for home use.
Importantly – our company also has purchased commercial licenses selected models made available by the authors. Thanks to this, we can print them and show them as examples of implementation. The images available on the website show prints made for customers or as part of our test collection – and serve as Examples of projects with the indicative price of printing such a model.
All activities of our company are in accordance with the applicable copyright law and the rules of sharing 3D models – we always act as 3D printing service provider, not a model or license seller.
What are the payment methods in the store?
We accept fast online payments, including wire transfers, Blik, card payments, and systems such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. We do not offer cash on delivery – all orders are processed after prepayment.
What is the lead time?
We typically process orders within 2 to 7 business days, depending on the size, complexity of the model, and order queue. We confirm the lead time for a specific order after it has been placed.
What are the forms and costs of delivery?
We ship orders in Polish and abroad. We offer delivery via InPost parcel lockers and DPD, GLS and InPost couriers. Delivery costs are indicated in the shopping cart when placing the order.
Can I return the product?
No. All our prints are made to the customer's individual order, therefore, in accordance with the applicable law, they are not subject to return or exchange. However, if the product arrived damaged or not in accordance with the order – please contact us and we will help you resolve the situation as soon as possible.
